After quite the traumatic ordeal, I was finally able to pick him up & set him outside on the porch. I was hoping he'd fly away, but by this time, as you can see, he'd lost his tail feathers & I think was probably, to put it lightly, freaking the fuck out. :( poor baby.

I thought he might be more comfortable in the garden, if he were dying or something. So I went out to try to grab him again, and he flew away. Hope he makes it.

Oh & now that I've cleaned up the feathers & let Kazoo out of the bathroom, he is STILL searching everywhere for the bird. Today he's not "fuzzypants" or "buddyboy" or "kazoobie"... no. His new nickname is "Bird Killer".

	Willo says: aww thanks guys. ya, I was freakin out. it SUCKED. the highlight (or lowlight as it were) had to have been when kazoo was walking around with the bird in his mouth and I was yelling for him to take it outside. but of course, he was probably offended at that, considering he'd brought me a present! how rude! So since he wouldn't put it down, I tried to pick him up, with the bird IN his mouth, and carry him outside myself. But that's when he dropped the bird & I realized it was still alive. oy! hard core.
