This is a different kind of textured bokeh than my earlier post of the same name. For the earlier shot, I combined a bokeh shot with a background texture in GIMP, which converted everything to 8 bits and left some banding in the dark areas (aptly noted by my good friend soulfly). This one doesn't involve layering. It's an image of our Christmas tree lights shot through an old glass lantern top. Something about the glass (either streaks on the surface or maybe the composition of the glass) left some really interesting lines through the bokeh balls in the middle of the shot where the lantern was. The sides of the shot consist of light not traveling through the glass and are clear bokeh balls. All in all, an interesting, colorful abstract shot in my view. Hope everyone else enjoys it too.
As always, comments, suggstions, constructive criticisms, etc., are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Thanks!
