The original columns from the U.S. Capitol

The original columns from the U.S. Capitol

Until 1958, these columns were used in the U.S. Capitol. Now, you can find them on a Hill that borders Maryland and Washington D.C., at the National Arboretum. They are a bit spooky looking, if you ask me.

At the Google HQ in Reston

At the Google HQ in Reston

This was taken at the Google HQ in Reston. I was the volunteer photographer for Reston Interfaith and the Reston Chamber of Commerce tonight, as they were kicking off their big fundraiser.

So far, Reston Interfiath has raised over $200,000 to operate their homeless shelter, food pantry, and to continue providing other social services.
