Korean unisex toilet?

A sign I spotted outside a toilet in Seoul. Can someone please explain what this is all about? April 2005.

The sign is trying to show the GUYS how to ESCAPE in case a female enters the toilet room they are using. Climb the wall and run to safety!

so my korean friend translated this using an online korean to english dictionary and came up with this for the three words at the top of the sign.

1. one of these (western learning, good timber, foreign style dressmaking)
2. car/vehicle
2. theatre

does that make any more sense to anyone?

That's a little sad that you friend had to look it up. My Korean is terrible and I could read it.

The first part says "Karma 21," which ought to be obvious enough since it says "Karma 21" in English right next to the Korean. In the middle are two words, "Yang Jae" and I don't know what they mean. The last part is something along the lines of "Car Theater." I would imagine that the sign's it's for a drive-thru movie theater called Karma 21 (like Century 20).

As for the sign, I have no idea what the hell is up with that. Funny though.

YangJae is a neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea.

The sign is just a joke sign indicating where the bathroom is. Nothing more than a perverted cartoon dude sneaking a peak at a cartoon girl.

Just the management's attempt at humor... they want you to know how hip, edgy and irreverent they are.

Your Korean friend can't read Korean. It is in fact a funny play on the usual facilities sign in Korea. It does in fact say Karma 21 Yangjae Drive In Theater.
