This one made #1 on Explore on 14th of November 2006. It's my first photo ever to make the top spot. Whee! :).

You've done something to make the colors pop out I guess. . and it is cool. As for the composition though, not as cool. The left and right rickshaws don't seemed to placed right. Also, there is nothing in the photo that anchors my attention. ..aside from the center blue.

Great HDR! I got to know from one of your comment threads that you use only tone-mapping... Also the tag shows that you used Photomatix. I would like to learn more about single shot HDR. Is there some reference/tutorial I can follow as a startup? Can a single shot HDR be created from a JPEG? I have a Canon SD700 IS... Thanks!

kaushalmodi: I do both multiple-exposure HDRs as well as the single-shot ones. Typically the ones that contain a lot of action/people are single-shot ones.. for example, a shot like this would be impossible to create from multiple photos (as it's taken without a tripod from a moving car).

Photomatix supports nowadays automatic RAW->HDR single-shot conversion. I don't believe that any cameras create JPEGs that would contain more than 8 bits per channel -- you need to shoot in RAW, sorry. The only problem I really have with Photomatix is that the programming is pretty shoddy -- the program both contains a number of bugs and it's so slow that it hurts.

never knew delhi was so colourful. What an interesting portrayal on a normally darker scenerio. Pictures Ive seen before of here have been great but either in B&W or in dull tones or sepia, these colours just make the place POP!
