Panorama featuring the arc of a Chobe Impala leaping 0R7E1742 to 0R7E1747

Panorama of a leaping Impala Ewe in Chobe (Aepyceros melampus). I did not resize this image, instead leaving it at the original width which is quite wide. There is no hocus pocus done to this image other than stitching the five individual images of the leaping Impala together. I left out one image in this sequence which would have been the second one from the right but it is now missing because it fell behind the first airborne Impala so I eliminated it.

Northern Gannet dive sequence IMG_2828 to IMG_2831

Northern Gannet dive sequence. (Morus bassanus). The birds were quite active off Lamba Ness this day so I took advantage of it as best I could.

The Ring of Brodgar sentinal stones near sunset IMG_3539

The Ring of Brodgar sentinal stones near sunset IMG_3539

Sunburst over one of the massive standing stones at the Ring of Brodgar on Main Island, Orkney Islands, Scotland, Great Britain. We went out after dinner to specifically photograph this site only to find it quite overcast. The sun would occasionally peak through the clouds and one had to be ready for its brief appearance. Later the sky turned quite red and the sunset made the trip all the more worthwhile.

The Ring is a Neolithic Henge and a World Heritage Site. More can be read about it here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_of_Brodgar

A bit of Photoshop adjustments enhanced the sun over the standing stone.w

Sunrise graces Totem and Yei-bi-chai Rocks in Monument Valley IMG_8429

Sunrise graces Totem and Yei-bi-chai Rocks in Monument Valley IMG_8429

The sun just starts to peak through the clouds during an overcast sunrise on the Arizona side of Monument Valley. This is a wonderful, spiritual place to take pictures and a before sunrise tour is a recommended venture to pursue. I had a GPS with me and afterward I could view the track and see exactly where we went. I was amazed to see that we were totally in Arizona as I had ignorantly thought all along that Monument Valley was in New Mexico.
