Three shelves of condensed geekeryA plethora of old Gamecube games, most of which I've never finished. But my Wii plays Gamecube games, so I srtill have the option! Wii games. Serious, the console is fun to play, but someone needs to make more decent games for it... this schedule of "one good game every three months" bullshit is not cutting the mustard. Xbox 360 games. My console did get the red ring of death, and had to be sent off to Microsoft... right during my two weeks of Xmas vacation. Ass. A bug mounted in a picture frame. It had it coming. Actually, real, not comicbook books. Yes I have them. If fact, there's a fourth shelf not in this picture with more. So there :P I don't have cable, but I do watch a lot of movies. These are the DVDs I own, including TV series box sets like Deadwood, Samurai Jack, Stargate SG1, and Battestar Galactica. A plush penguin. A mascot from a previous QA job. It was the target of many in-office nerf gun battles, poor bugger. Hardcover graphic novels. Same as the trade paperback graphic novels above, but of better quality. They are usually 10 or 20 percent larger, on better paper, collect twice as much in a collection, and have several extras in the back. Comicbook graphic novels, in alphabetical order. Includes collections such as Powers, Fables, Hellboy, New Avengers, and Morrison's JLA. Smaller graphic novels, fitted into the shorter shelves that I can't be bothered to adjust :) Good stuff here: Bone, Astroboy, Penny Arcade, Lone Wolf and Cub, and misc manga. Some misc graphic novels, including Marvel Essentials, Cerebus, From Hell, McCloud's Understanding Comics trilogy, and a couple RPG books. This is where your PS3 games will be living in about 6 months. My prediction! ;)  Three of my bookshelves at my apartment, filled with stereotypical geekery. Mostly want to use this photo to experiment with Flickr's tagging and noting features.
