I have friends in sask province, but Ive not
been there yet, this picture makes me feel I
have missed out big time, its a great use of
contrast, If this was for sell on a calendar
or picture book id buy it for sure

It's really beautiful up there. I ususally
scout out potential locations before sunset
and then go back when the sunsets and wait
for the image to appear. This particular one
didn't work out that way, it was pure luck
that the storm and sunset lined up to light
it up like this.

I lived in the south end of Regina as a kid.
I remember seeing skies like this, watching
with anticipation. There was always an eerie
stillness first, and then the wind would
suddenly increase to a ferocious speed. When
the rain started to fall, it was almost
sideways. It would get very dark outside,
broken only momentarily by the brilliant
flashes of lightning.
