Italian Sausage Braising in BeerWhen you add the beer, it foams beautifully as the beer deglazes the browned bits in the pan. These browned bits need a bit more beer... I usually tip the pan a bit... I sear the sausage on each side in a hot pan with no oil. Then, I begin to add the beer.
I usually braise Brots in beer, but figured I try it with the Italian Sausage. Maybe I'll try wine next time.
