If you actually take the time to read this, you're crazy.
So I was tagged by goodness knows how many people, so I figured, hey, if I’m going to be lazy and not take any pictures at the moment, I might as well do this. So here it is, bear with me; 10 Random Facts:
10. I only started photography in April of last year, as some of you know. Originally, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but I eventually grew out of that and changed my mind after I become obsessed with drawing, painting, and writing, and I thought that was what I wanted to do with my life. It wasn’t until April that I randomly picked up a camera and started taking pictures. It was from that moment on that I fell in love with photography.
9. I love sharing my faith with people, and telling them about my love of God, but sometimes it’s also very hard for me. I often feel like I don’t have the right words to say, and that I’m not strong or brave enough to put into words how much I do love God and why. That’s one of the most important things to me, however, and I am working on overcoming that fear. I hope people can at least see that through my photography.
8. I am a night owl. So far this semester, I haven’t gotten to bed once before midnight, and don’t plan to for the rest of the year. And the funny thing is, it usually has nothing to do with staying up late to do homework. I stay up late simply for the virtue of staying up late. I’ve always been stubborn about going to bed on time, and that probably won’t be changing anytime soon.
True story, I stayed up until 5am last night. Not completely my fault. Ha.
7. I had never been kissed up until I was 18 years old. So all you 13-year-old girls out there who are complaining about never having been kissed, shut up. Haha. It’s not worth feeling like crap just because some boy hasn’t face-raped you yet. You’ve got time.
Just saying.
6. Once you get me started, I could talk for hours. And that extends into writing. I start typing anything and you won’t be able to stop me for at least an hour or so. Explains why these 10 random fact things are always so long for me. Haha
5. I love being on my own and being independent. When I got to school, I bought a 35 oz box of goldfish merely because no one was stopping me. If I had a car here with me at school, I would be taking it out every day to drive places so I could think and be alone with myself. Some of my best memories are just being alone in my room, staring at the ceiling, and thinking about anything and everything. I do that a lot; it’s very relaxing.
4. Having the chance to meet someone who I met through flickr, through photography, was and will be one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I learned so much from that week with Zack, and I hope you will continue to see me grow as a photographer, and as a person, because of that. I’m glad you all enjoyed our picture so much :)
3. I was homeschooled for a good ten years of my life. My mom pulled my brother, sister, and I out of public school when I was about 8 because the teachers were idiots, and decided to get sick every other week and cancel classes. My mom is one of the most amazing people I know for sacrificing so much of her time to teach us in the home, which I believe has been the reason for making me become the person I am today.
2. I love me a boy who can play the guitar (yeah, that didn’t make sense, but deal with it). I don’t care what he looks like; playing on the strings of a guitar is playing on my heartstrings in the purest sense. Mmm. Lovely.
1. I see photography as a way of expressing myself. I often put so much of my emotion into pictures that it is often hard to go back and look at them after the fact, because the way I felt while taking them is so incredibly palpable, even weeks after. I realize my feelings may often come across as overwhelmingly passionate at times, but that is just me sharing my heart with you, and I hope you understand that.
Thanks for reading! Please don’t tag me again any time soon if you don’t want to read my life’s story again. ;p
