I love this! Mr President, you have earned the opportunity to put your feet up - thanks so much for getting HCR though, I've been smiling all day.

Exactly! I'm sure this is a rare moment that he has been able to relax albeit for a short time. What a tough job he has but he has worked so hard and done so much for the American people. I hope the people realize this.

Tell me what makes this photographically awesome. I don't see it. where is the Blackberry, and the background is way too busy, My eye keeps gravitating towards the background. Maybe angled the shot a little to have the window more on his right side.

I love this photograph. Photographs are more than rules of thirds and solid backgrounds with everything sharp. Photographs tell emotional stories and make the viewer want to know more. So despite it not being technically perfect, (after all some of the flower and kitty shooters on Flickr dissed Bresson on this site, who's next to be dissed Ansel Adams? Please...), it makes me want to know what is on that Blackberry. The smirk is compelling. The lighting gives me the mood of it being the "private" residence and not the working floors of the White House.

Just a good snapshot. The dof and rule of thirds doesn't need to apply, only if you are trying to convey this in your photograph. But this photograph of the president is so disinteresting to the eye, very flat. If it were a picture from a unknown photographer, of uncle Jose would you feel the same way.

      Nice, happy smile.

The latest news is that USA will turn the ship of society more towards ecological & sustainable policies, even if Joe Biden realizes that it will take more time for his country to do so. It seems that the off shore drillings in Alaska pure nature will be cancelled, after the terrible disaster in the Mexican gulf...

Cheers from my hut near Brussels... ;-)
