At last Senator Kennedy has been reunited with all the family members who went on before him: his parents Joe and Rose; his brothers Joe, Jr., President Kennedy, and Robert; his sisters Rosemary, Kathleen, Patricia, and Eunice; his sister-in-law Jacqueline, nephews David, Michael, and John-John, and niece-in-law Carolyn.

After [Caroline's] wedding, Jackie wrote Ted a thank you letter - a token of gratitude for what he’d meant to all the Kennedys over the years.

The letter read, "There have been 17 children besides your own - Bobby's, Pat's, Jack's and mine, for whom you have always been there. Every graduation, every big decision, every trouble, every sad and even every happy day. On you, the carefree youngest brother, fell a burden a hero would beg to be spared. Sick parents, lost children, desolate wives. You are a hero. Everyone is going to make it, because you are always there with your love. Jackie."

After hearing the letter read out loud, Kennedy took a long pause. His voice cracked as he said, "It's about as nice as you can get."

@banksterbill says:Obamas far worse than Bush ever was.
____________________________________________ ____

Please enlighten me why President Obama far worse than President Bush when

Bushes 8 Years 2000-2008
- 3, 500 American lose their life September 2001 during his watched
- 2 Wars with no win insight
- 4,000 American troops killed in Iraq because of his phony "WMD"
- 100,000 innocent Iraqis life, lose
- Blew ups every single financial vessel in America during his watched (September 2008) and drags the global economy along with it
- Owed every single Americans who loss their job, their home, their saving, every single penny he owned
- Broke the law, Torture
- American image tarnished the globe, American flags burned, walked on, disrespect
- Left the oval office with $ 1.3 Trillion deficit, economy at the blink of depression, 2 wars wrap in a gift box on the table waiting for Obama

President Obama 7 Months in the office
- Economy stop bleeding and slowly improving
- Housing sales rise
- Stocks slowly getting better
- Iraq war is ending, Troops is coming home
- Consumer confidence rising
- American image once again flourish around the world
- Finally you can see the light at the end of the tunnel
- The only reason that is dragging him down is because of health care but so President Clinton during this time and yet he ended up 8 years in the office

Enlighten me!

What we can do is to live out our lives as best we can with purpose, and love, and joy.
We can use each day to show those who are closest to us how much we care about them, and treat others with the kindness and respect that we wish for ourselves and if we are blessed with the chance to look back on our time here, we can know that we spent it well; that we made a difference; that our fleeting presence had a lasting impact on the lives of other human beings.

Thank you

R.I.P Senator Kennedy!

Unalienable Rights by our Creator- not congress says:

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."

(Yes, It was changed!!!)
Anyone know who pushed for the change?
Know Why the change was pushed through?

Read up on McCarthyism and get back to me here.
As artists it applies to all of us.

Orig 1892 pledge: "I Pledge Allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all."

Later that same year the word 'to' was added: "I Pledge Allegiance to my Flag and TO the Republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all."

In 1923: Changed to, "the Flag of the United States "
1924: "the Flag of the United States of America. "

The pledge was officially recognized by Congressas the official national pledge on June 22, 1942.

"Under God" was officially incorporated into the Pledge of Allegiance in 1954.

Unalienable Rights by our Creator- not congress says:

GW was a great proponent of the poor.

www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/feb/15/georgebu sh.usa

They may not be George Bush's natural constituency but Rwanda's prostitutes have good things to say about him. So do poor South Africans abandoned by their quixotic government, and doctors across Africa who otherwise regard the American president as a walking crime against humanity.

As Bush arrives in Africa today at the start of a five-country tour he will be welcomed chiefly for an initiative which has gone largely unnoticed outside the continent but which has saved the lives of more than a million people with HIV.

The $15bn (£7.6bn) President's Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (Pepfar) is in its fifth year and has been hailed as a "revolution" that is transforming healthcare in Africa and has been praised as the most significant aid programme since the end of colonialism.

Bill Clinton's legacy in Africa was the debacle of Somalia and the abandonment of Rwanda's Tutsis to the 1994 genocide. But with Pepfar, Bush's primary contribution will be greatly extending millions of lives even though the programme has been criticised for emphasising abstinence in Aids education and using religious organisations to deliver care.

"This is the best thing that ever happened to the poor people I work with," said Edward Phillips, a Catholic priest overseeing the distribution of life-saving antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) in Nairobi, Kenya. "It's one of the few times I've seen US government money really reach down to the poorest of the poor. It's kept a hell of a lot of people alive."
