Stop z balonie says Clinton to Barack. The Resurrected Clinton is just the man we need here. Barack is becoming too much the nerdy boy scout. We need a giant Eagle Scout at the command. Fortunately Barack is smart enough to seek mentorship.

The Republicans are 4 years olds with temper tantrums. You won't ever satisfy them, so forget them and pass the agenda everyone worked so hard to see passed. Clinton has the thick skin we need here.

Clinton didn't accomplish anything in N. Korea.......he just went there for the photo op and to scoop up the credit. The real work was done behind the scenes by other people. That's how the story was first reported and I never hear Clinton correcting the misconception that HE did it.
The biggest reason why he went is because N.Korea is a male oriented society and that's who they wanted.

Barack Obama is no more open than any other administration. And Barack Obama looks like an American Eagle? LOL. You really need to get your head out of the idealist sand you're trapped in. This photostream and the comments seen often "Oh Obama he's such a great leader" is a prime example of how uninformed the public is and how easily impressed they are with a smooth talking politician who in reality has done nothing special of note. George Bush was a horrible president, but Barack Obama is not much better. He promised no lobbyists=broke that promise. He promised to allow access to the White House visitor logs=broke that promise. Failing to end income tax for seniors making less than $50,000=broken promise. Now allowing five days of public comment before signing bills=broken promise. Not creating a $3,000 tax credit for companies that add jobs=broken promise. Not allowing penalty-free hardship withdrawals from retirement accounts in 2008 and 2009=broken promise. Not recognize the Armenian genocide=broken promise. Failing to negotiate health care reform in public sessions televised on C-SPAN=broken promise. He promised to stop torture, but his own new CIA Director said he could not make such a promise=broken promise. Failed to close Guantanamo=Broken Promise

Obama Team: David Axelrod

Money from pharmaceutical firms and health care companies is dirty, evil, and corrupting – except when key members of Team Obama are pocketing it. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs derides grass-roots opponents of socialized health care as industry-funded lackeys with questionable motives and conflicts of interest. But what about the corporate shills at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?

Two weeks ago, the White House embraced $150 million in drug industry ads supporting Obamacare. This week, Bloomberg News reported that White House senior adviser and chief campaign strategist David Axelrod’s former public relations firm, AKPD Message and Media, has raked in some $24 million in ad contracts supporting Obamacare – along with another p.r. firm, GMMB, run by other Obama strategists.

The ads are funded by Big Pharma, the AARP, AMA, and the powerhouse Services Employees International Union (whose Purple Shirts dumped $80 million in independent expenditures to get Obama and the Democrat

Your right it does suck to have to wait for it. It sucks more to be insured and pay your families premiums for years and years and them when your mother needs surgery to save her life you find out that it's not covered and the false sense of security you have had all those years was just that false. So you basically paid these people for services that they do not render when called upon to do so because you had a pre-existing condition that went undiagnosed because there aren't any symptoms until it reaches stage fucking four and then by that time it's almost too late to do anything and the private insurance death panel decides that you are not covered so good luck. WHEW!

I don't blame president stupid for everything that went wrong just the things that he did. When the people that were banging the drum for all the fabulous things he did to get us where we are turn around and start calling the new guy the devil for things he didn't do and had no choice but to try and correct I find it disingenuous. If you are in a car and the driver is heading for a cliff and every one is telling him to turn the wheel, and at the last second he jumps out and somebody else grabs the wheel don't complain if he turns the wheel to late, or say you could have done a better job if you were sitting in the back seat the entire time telling the first driver to step on the gas!

I apologize for going on a rant this is not the place. I'm a photographer this is flickr you are all my flickr friends So peace out and think whatever you like. It's what makes our country great.

Senator DeMint on "We the People vs. "I won" mentality of Obama.

In 2001, when Obama called the U.S. Constitution “a charter of negative liberties,” he didn’t mean it as a compliment. “It says what the states can’t do to you, says what the federal government can’t do to you. But it doesn’t say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf.”

Obama was wrong on that last point. Article IV of the Constitution lays out in very specific terms exactly what the federal government and state government “must do on your behalf”: for instance, the federal government must protect the states from foreign invasion or violent insurrection.

What President Obama meant is not that the Constitution fails to mandate government action, but that it fails to mandate enough, to satisfy his gargantuan ambitions. And so he daily goes about his business of rewriting America’s social contract, not by amending the Constitution, but by ignoring it all together.

S. diddlebrook: ever heard of 'fascism?' Here, since you find it necessary to post the community rules yet again, I will post the description of fascism:

1. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

2. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.

3. Oppressive, dictatorial control.

Ho-Bo and his ilk most likely seen flickr as a great way to push their propaganda while the dissenting opinions would be deleted/removed which would equal fascism. I believe, those who oversee what is posted on flickr realize this and have made an exception to this particular photostream. I, personally, applaud yahoo/flickr if this is the case.

Don't you realize the White House has Home Rules, that even a new president cannot just change like he would want? (Like on the Log and on admitting five days comments on new laws). Last week I was in Ostend, a port at our Belgian Court; I visited a boat museum, and then bought some fresh fish lunch; a gull game to me, wishing to share in the meal; I threw the animal some scraps that it took eagerly; I noticed though, that some people looked at me with some wonder; a minute later, I discovered the first of many big boards with a pic of a gull eating aggressively, crossed by a red line; there was an explanation: "Don't feed the Birds" "the text read: "When you feed them, there come to many; they are sea and shore animals, they find enough food there; they can become aggressive when people start feeding them"; then they feel spoiled, and want more and more... & will not accept a 'no'..
Speaking of Gulls, speaking of Trolls...
So thank you, Richard, for your sound advice. But my mother has thought me to love and respect animals, those funny and cute Lower Creatures… I tend to believe they are inhabited by a Soul too! And I remember so well how Mother used to listened to my myriads of naïve toddler questions, which she answered with endless patience :D ' Guess we have the Didactical Gene in our Family. – After all, on the other hand, in the future I might wish to receive the Trolls presence just like that, and answer it with silence; I guess Peace of Mind is such a Treasure; like you prove in your photostream, profile and artistic work.

Sure I have. Like I said, I never liked Bush either, but not a whole lot of people did NOT put themselves in his shoes when he was making the decision to go to war. Did you? Why do you get so trusting and teary-eyed when it comes to Obama?

"Don't you realize the White House has Home Rules, that even a new president cannot just change like he would want? (Like on the Log and on admitting five days comments on new laws). "

Obama could have easily started such a comment program right away. His website was put into effect the moment he took the oath.

"Should'nt you look at the general picture, the intentions, the direction of the new policies? Then I presume you will have to agree that CHANGE HAS COME. "

What change?

"This man is so much more honest than the former presidents."

He is? He lied about not allowing lobbyists. He lied about closing Guantanamo Bay. He lied about not wanting a single payer health care system. And you watch, he will have lied about not raising taxes as well.

"I am sure he has a much sharper intellegence. "

So what? I've known very well educated people who couldn't make decent leadership decisions because they lacked other qualities.

"It is too easy, to decline attention from domestic problems by starting two wars somewhere in the world, like others have chosen to do before him. "

George Bush didn't start 2 wars. He started one - - Iraq. The other war was started by someone else. Bin Laden declared war on the US and attacked us. So we entered the war and invaded Afghanistan.

Dearest Sumi,

Then why don't you say the same to people who post stuff like "This man is a true leader!!!!" . . . . and . . . "Obama is looking into this situation unlike the last president" and crap like that.

Seriously, people only get upset when people say bad things about Obama, yet when they post their idealistic supportive political comments, all of the sudden it's OK? I think not.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2009 says:

Big Brother will punish you for not having" Health Insurance"

Taxing Your Mere Existence
August 17, 2009, by Legal Insurrection

As set forth in my prior post, IRS The New Health Care Enforcer, the new tax provisions in the Senate and House draft health care bills tax people for failing to obtain acceptable health coverage. These taxes are crucial to implementing a health care mandate (which Barack Obama said during the primary he was against) whereby the power to tax compels people to obtain coverage. (YOU MUST OBEY) So this is why he wants our bank account numbers!

Sumi the fascist. This account is NOT about some photographer's art. This is politics pure and simple. Perhaps with all that hatred you have for those who dissent you may want to seek councelling to help you get through it.

Here's another a-hole politician making an ass of herself:

And these are our elected officials...pathetic.

Maxine Waters....She and Barney Frank said in 2003...NOTHING IS WRONG with Fannie Mae and Freddie MAC, when Bush was trying to regulate the subprime mortgage give away to people who didn't have a pot to piss in. Maxine and Barney knew this. Those are two evil people and the reason we are in this economic downturn

Sumi: thank you for coming in; I also sometimes almost loose my temper here, or my hope!
@mr. Canada:
You ask if I have put myself in the shoes of president Bush when he had to make the decision on starting a (revenge) war ? Yes, actually I did; the proof of that is to be found in the boxes that where taken out of the White House on Inauguration day, January 20 of this year: I have written several letters to president Bush junior. I have tried to be with him when he was in those dire days.

For the rest I cannot see what you mean: how can you see lies in what president Barack Obama does? How can you not see and feel the Change that has come?

I can feel and see it even in the streets here, in Europe, on the other shore of the Atlantic. For instance in the attention that goes to emotional intelligence, to ethics, to respect for colored people. I can see it in the new pride the people with African roots take in themselves; and that is a good thing. They are genetically the craddle of Mankind, but have not received the due honor. On the contrary! Obama's honest attitude is an inspiration for millions of people that have the honor and pleasure to live in the same historic era as he does.
Wishing you a good day, and much fun with photo's on Flickr.

@AC. Thamer: thank you for your testimonial how it sometimes (often?) goes completely wrong with health care in your country, the US. I appreciate your indignation. I am sure a Word of Truth like yours makes a difference; it helps to shift the rudder of the culture, the steerwheel of the Ship of Society. Let us continue to display that great combination of human talents that 'our' president Barack Obama embodies: keeping a cool head and a warm heart! ! !
Kind Regards from Belgium, a small country with a great past and an even greater future.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2009 says:

2004 when Bush was trying to regulate Fannie and Freddie:

Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA): I think it is clear that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are sufficiently secure so they are in no great danger... I don't think we face a crisis; I don't think that we have an impending disaster. ...Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac do very good work, and they are not endangering the fiscal health of this country.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA): I have sat through nearly a dozen hearings where, frankly, we were trying to fix something that wasn't broke. [sic] ...These GSEs have more than adequate capital for the business they are in: providing affordable housing. As I mentioned, we should not be making radical or fundamental change... If there is anything to fix or improve, it is the [regulators].

CPL you are miserable and YOU don't know me. I'm far from a politician, as a matter of fact I had come to erase my message, but I decided against it. I tell you what... since your choice word is ass how bout you KISS MINE!

Mr. Canada I'm not upset that people are saying bad things about President Obama that is the nature of politics...some love you and others despise you. I don't come here for the 'comments' and I didn't take any of the photos here... However, I got your attention and few others. My job is done.

Just do a google search or some other type of search on "Obama lies" or "Obama flip flops" and you tell me he doesn't lie or blur the truth and flip flop.

He's going to go down in flames and he will drag the rest of those A-hole dems with him...hopefully, many of the repubs will go as well.

LOL...hmm, that kind of sounds tempting. ;) The reason why I refered to you as a 'fascist' is because you want EVERYONE that has a dissenting opinion to shut up and go away...that's simply not right which I'm sure you know. I do have to thank you for making me laugh, greatly appreciated. I would prefer that we were all wrong and that our president was doing what is best for our country but those of us on here with a dissenting opinion truly do not believe he is doing right by any of America's citizens.
