      I think they must be looking at Michelle coming up behind him. It may be cliche but I imagine the mother thrust it at him yelling "kiss my baby" - anyone know the origin of that anyway??? Is it supposed to bring good luck to the baby??

      I thought politicians only kissed babies when they were trying to get elected. He can leave this cliché behind until he's running for his second term.

      I'd have been tempted to crop out the crowd to the left for a better composition. Having said that, their interest elsewhere does make the shot inherently more interesting reportage -wise.

      Thats my baby! :) And I truely believe he just loves Children in general.. Not in a bad way. He was so proud talking about his daughter. You could tell it in his face.

      I agree with h.fry. The lady on the left with all of the handbags on her wrist looks so horrified for some reason and kind of brings down the shot.

      There's something so sweet about young presidents holding babies! That baby looks super cute too with those tiny hands and little arms. I love this shot.

      I will never get why ANY politicians kiss strange babies. Strangers, even famous strangers, should not be kissing our babies, period.

      Sorry, that's an opinion, even if an unpopular opinion.

      If you kiss a baby, you should KNOW that baby or be related to that baby.

      If a stranger walked down the block and kissed any baby or child, people would be looking weird at that. But make that person famous, and all of a sudden this is okay? Don't read anything into this post, it is exactly what is says, "strangers should not kiss babies, even if the strangers are politicians or celebrities". that's all, nothing more , nothing less
