He looks like he's expecting to see his beautiful kids come running towards the plane, or the dog Bo barking away to welcome his Daddy.
Better still hoping the light is still on in the family living room and the family are still up and he can spend some quality time with them before they go to bed.

You know if he was so concerned for the environment why is he flying and getting driven in an armored hydrogen car?
kolored (48 months ago)
ha.. same reason al gore was chauffeured around in a town car that gets 15 mpg for the entire duration of inconvenient truth.

This shot makes me catch my breath!!!
Pete, le sigh. Such straw arguments. It would probably cost more to drive a president somewhere, considering all the security needed than flying anyway. The CEOs are in no danger driving or flying commercial. People reeeeally need to get over this.

I officially want this job. Presidential Photographer....sounds great to me. And a heck of a lot better than my current job. The government could even pay me less if they wanted.

Nice shot !!! The hazards of shooting inside a helicopter in it self, creates problems with 'vibration', let alone at a shutter speed of 200. Nice work Pete.
