I am constantly scared (whenever I see these pics) that he'll fall over and break something.

Another great thing about Obama: he'll probably suck it up and laugh alongside everyone else if he ever tips all the way over.

Fucking A, Mr. President! If they'd meant for chairs to have all their legs on the floor, they'd have made them comfortable in that position!

That's actually the perfect angle to sit, you should be at 110 degrees, not 90 degrees, otherwise you will develop back pain from sitting in chairs. Your spine was not meant to take the full weight of your torso on it, for more than 20 years.

So I cannot edit this photo in any way? Shows how much the White House knows about the public domain.

You've got legs that long, you've got to do something about it :)

Anyway - what the pic doesn't show is the guy crouched in back of him, just out of the range of the camera, ready to dash forward at any sign of instability ;)

Flag in distress 11/04/08 says:

Well well well if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black: Obama is the king of hypocrisy.

Who Knows “Mob Rule” Better Than Union Bosses?

Richard Trumka, soon-to-be president of the largest union umbrella in the United States, has a funny understanding of “mob rule.”

Presumptive AFL-CIO president Trumka recently blasted those concerned citizens across the country who simply exercised their free speech rights at town hall meetings:

“Mob rule is not a democracy. People have a democratic right to express themselves and our elected leaders have a right to hear from their constituents -- not organized thugs whose sole purpose is to shut down the conversation and attempt to scare our leaders into inaction.”

Well isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black! Of course, Trumka is the expert on “organized thugs” and scare tactics. And in the case of the union he formerly headed, we’re talking about REAL thuggery.

Not long ago, as president of the United Mine Workers (UMW) union, Trumka ordered thousands of miners in seven states out on strike.

In some states, workers exercised their right to continue working to provide for their families, and massive mobs of UMW union thugs harassed and even violently attacked those who entered picketed worksites. One man named Eddie York was brutally shot and killed by a UMW militant named Jerry Dale Lowe.

But Trumka dismissed the violence, implying it was the victims’ fault. He told the Washington Times, “[I]f you strike a match and put your finger in, common sense tells you you're going to burn your finger.”
