This is wonderful. It shows the very essence of the difference between the GOP and the Democrats. Where the Democrats will roll up their sleeves and do it themselves, a Republican would hire someone else, blame them if they don't like it, then cut the taxes on the sofa manufacturer and claim a victory for "the people."

In any case, our French president (a fairly despicable guy named Sarkozy) would not be caught dead giving a hand to some Joe with moving a couch.
