Mystery lantern slides #7 (1 of 3)

    Newer Older

A mystery set of 12 lantern slides depicting pigs in a child's story. Three little pigs seems the obvious guess, but are they?

I have loads of old lantern slides, some complete sets and many just random part sets, and many I simply can't identify what set they belong to!

It seems to be a variant on the toe counting game. The first five fit each line pretty well.

This little piggy went to market
This little piggy stayed at home
This little piggy had roast beef
      This little piggy had none
This little piggy cried wee wee wee all the way home.

After that it gets - or I get - a bit muddled.

archimandrill spot on with those first five I'd say, so I wonder what the rest are? I have had a look on-line and can't see any versions with more than five lines, which makes sense really since it is supposed to be said whilst tickling children's toes!
