So, I had an assignment for a photography class, where I was instructed to empty out my purse (or bookbag/laptop bag/man purse) and take a picture of the contents, then describe them. Why I have them, what they do, etc.

Starting at the tops left, and snaking around as best I can.

1. Bottle of percocet, cause you never know when you might pass a kidney stone. Or I don't anyway.

2. Bath and Body Works Tropical Passionfruit moisturizing hand sanitizer.

3. Skittles mango lip smackers. My lips are pretty red all on their own, and I happen to think I look ridiculous with lipsticks or glosses. In the interest of moist tasty fun, I have a large collection of lipsmackers.

4. Savvii brand roll on perfume in "Pink". Totally smells like fruit loops.

5. Rasberry Kiwi lip smackers. I like variety!

6. True Blue Spa "Look ma, new hands" lotion for the extra dry skin prone.

7. Kleenex brand travel tissue. Self explanatory.

8. DKNY perscription sunglasses. My eyes are blue, and pretty sensitive to the sun, but I almost neverwear sunglasses. Switching back and forth from these to my regular glasses is annoying.

9. iPhone headphones. I get bored easily.

10. Keys. I do ocassionally forget these.

11. Everyday Minerals powder foundation holder. It has a cute little mirror on the top.

12. Shout wipes. Not for me, for my husband. He's messy.

13. Savvi brand mango sorbet solid perfume. When I was like eight, my dad bought me some sparkly floral scented solid perfume. WHen I saw these, I couldn't resist. I have like five, but this one if my favorite.

14. Box of Zofran, for the nausea that I get from percocet.

15. Hairbrush. I have really fine hair, and Pueblo is windy, so it tangles easily.

16. iPhone with my fancy new blue plastic cover. It gets dropped a lot, so it need protection.

17. Gap leather mini wallet. I find this is all I need to carry with me. It holds my ID, insurance card, and a couple of credit cards. I never have cash.

18. Hair tie. My husband complains that I leave these scattered all over the house. FUnny that I can never find one when I really need it though.

19. Nasaquart AQ (nasal spray) pen that I stole from my doctors office four years ago. It's my favorite pen.

20. Charlaine Harris, Living Dead in Dallas. This is the second in a series of books about the vampires, and other such supernatural beings. The TV show True Blood on HBO is based from them. I don't care for the show, but I really like the books so far.

21. Extra Fruit sensation Berry Pearadise gum. I hate having skanky breath. When I know I'm going to be in close proximity with someone I always pop in some kind of refresher. My husband can't stand the smell of mint though, so I'm limited in my flavors. This one is good; very different.

The aftermath.

Ray's birthday dinner. He was a 2lb lobster that I picked out specifically for his deliciously large claws. 'Cause the claw meat is the best part.

Ray's birthday cupcakes for work! White chocolate cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting, mixed berry jam, a rocher candy, and grated white chocolate.

We went on a bit of a shopping spree after he opened his gift. Some are games, and some are movies.
