The waning crescent Moon and the planet Venus are within two degrees
of each other and brightly shine over Oakmont Baptist Church in
Greenville NC on the morning of November 5, 2007. This pairing of the
moon and planets is quite common during the course of a year as our
Moon orbits the Earth in nearly the same plane as the other planets of
our solar system. Astronomers refer to this pairing as a conjunction.

My wife and I just joined this church November 4th. Your picture just adds to the love I have developed for this church and the people in it. This is beautiful.
