      brianna - i didn't need to use anything to keep it together. if you curl it tight enough it should stay pretty well. but you may also use a dab or glue or double-stick tape at the end to hold it together. good luck!

      hm. make sure you roll it up as tightly as you can, and make sure when you draw your spiral you go around at least 4 times. it also helps to use slightly heavier paper as it holds the curls better. good luck!
