That's really striking! Such a contrast between the pale blue sky and the murk and decay below.

Nice! Casting the ship in the shadows reenforces the decay. It sure seems a waste leaving it just rot away. Nice description.

Fantastic pics, thanks for posting them I remember as a child going for something to eat in this ship on a weekend outing into North Wales I can still see the ship from the Wirral, remember going to this 'fun ship' it's such a shame it's in this state, I tried to get close once to photograph it but found everywhere fenced up, you must tell me more about that footpath.

Thanks for the comment. I never got to see the ship whilst it was open. My uncle used to tell me about it and how you could go onboard for drinks or something to eat, I found it fascinating. The footpath runs alongside the 'solitare?' market (the smaller market).

The side of the river that get's you closest to the ship is fenced off (and fiercely protected by the owners from what I hear). But the opposite side is a public footpath and can be accessed by anyone.

Thanks for the link, the interior looks amazing, even by todays standards, shame to see it was ripped out and replaced by a car garage!
