The Hump: Lines (November 11, 2009)
Lines

Lines are like clays, you can mold it to achieve the form that you want. Open or close. Crooked or straight. Thin or thick. You maybe analytical or just go with the flow. Whichever approach you take, the result will just be the same. You have transformed something. You have created a new essence.
Our brain transmits signals to our hands, and gives direction on what it will do. Our brain also transmits signals to our eyes, and explains to it the aesthetics that it saw. But, our brain will never decipher one thing. And, this is our intention. How and why we got inspired to do it.
Remember not just to focus on what you see. Try to feel what each line is expressing to us. They may be shouting for contentment, or for change.
So, what do you see in the picture? Are the lines parallel or not?

The Hump
Time flies so quickly nowadays, that we fail to appreciate the simplest things and moments in our life. The week just started, and we can’t wait for it to end.
Take a breather. Slow down. Pause. There’s a Hump in the middle of the week, and that is Wednesday.
The Hump is a joint project of Zer and Louie. Zer provides the photos, Louie takes care of the words. They also only recently started inviting guest writers to handle the write-ups from time to time.
Why do they do it? They see Wednesday as a week's speed bump--a time for people to slow down and maybe have a look around at the world they live in. Zer and Louie aim to help out by giving people something possibly new to look at and think about.
There’s a Hump ahead. It’s your choice what to do with it.
