Lula's Java RingThis is a Java Ring - a complete computer inside it. I told Michael Tiemann that if he gave Lula a hat it would appear in every photograph. The yellow and white one meant you could meet the President personally. Uhuh, me. The President of Brazil ![]() At FISL in Porto Alegre, I gave Brazil's President Lula a Java Ring to signify that Brazil is the world's first Java-powered economy, using free/open source Java software in all parts of government, even the national TV standard.
