Is the header pic a rotating image? Or do you click the numbers in the upper left corner to change the picture? Is there more to the sidebar or will that be it?

It is a rotating item and of course you can flip back and front by clicking on the number (with both image and excerpt from your either featured/latest post), in order for it to work, you have to define the image source in WP custom field.

I will release a full documentation when I release the theme.

There'll be more on sidebar - planning to include Lifestream, recent posts, tags, categories and recent comments. Of course since it will be widget ready, you can add one at anytime.
