thanks, amigas.... One of L.A.'s nice little Urban respites. Lack of city funds has kept the fountain off apparently. (I was hoping it'd be on to reinforce my verts here, - oh well...)

Velvetair- due to drought? cold weather at the "wrong" time of the year, or whatever other strange reasons, the lotus plants are not doing well. Last years growth was pathetic. Very sad. Global warming issues? City pollution? Hard to say. Needless to say, there is very little funding for parks these days. Hard times...

If it makes you feel any better... this was the last bit of sunshine of the day... behind me was a wall of clouds... Smog man was taken on the same day!
