the CES (c.a.f.e. expatriate society) opinion is...
the expression and sharpness of the second soldier is just more compelling that I would crop the first one. better that your focal point be sharpest than frontmost. cropping from both edges pulls the main thrust of this image better together.

We are working on a monthly travel and adventure sport competition, all winning entries will be published in an online magazine. Judge panel will selected from Flickr.
