She - her name is yet to be worked out (!) was a mere 2 1/2 weeks old on this photo. At the time of writing, a week has passed by. More details to come (Sorry for the appalling photograph. of a photograph. A long story short, I haven't seen this little thing - I had the photo - on paper - sent to me. I have then taken a quick shot of it and uploaded it on my iPhone) The puppy, who was born 3 weeks ago tomorrow, and 18 months after we said our sad farewells to Cassis, we hope, will join us in January. For now it lives in a barn with its siblings and it's mum. The best thing about this story is that the litter was born in Chamonix - Cassis' true home, where she loved being and where she had the most fun. The parents both work in the authentic sense - looking after sheep in the alpine hills around. The pups are currently huddled up in a barn, and the mum is taking care of them, as well as a collection of goat kids! outside there is snow, so i hope they are warm enough. The humans involved own the farm and the wife is also vets assistant, which is another good point. For now, we dont know for sure that it will work out, but I hope so, and if this is the case ill see it towards the end of January when my mum brings it up to Brussels to show me who's boss!
