A few days ago my friend David wanted some portraits, so we went out to the beach. We got there before sunset, and I started off shooting directly into the sun. While my Einstein can compete shooting directly into the sun, I honestly like the few portraits we snapped after the sun had set.

This was the last shot we took, and it's by far my favorite.

strobist: Paul C. Buff Einstein into 22" socked beauty dish to camera right, powered by a Vagabond Mini. sb-900 bare to camera right behind him as a little fill/rim. fired with pocket wizard plus II's.

I went to Richmond a week or two ago, and while I was there I had to shoot some photos of Travis. While he was taking an important phone call, I decided to snap a candid portrait of him. I think it's funny because of how serious his expression is for being on the phone.

Sarah got me this awesome little Beltica 35mm folding camera from 1951. Of course I had to shoot a photo of it, and since I just got some extension tubes, I can look a little closer now.

While I was shooting some macro, I decided to shoot some coins. It's amazing how much detail I can now capture! I love medium format!

There was this rose opening up in the garden, so I had to shoot a macro photo of it. I just bought extension tubes, so I can look a lot closer at things now...
