My wife's train was forced to stop today because of a grass fire on the track. Everyone was forced to walk along the tracks back to the station. It was a hot 31 degrees at the time and probably felt like 40 degrees walking along the tracks. This photo was taken on her iPhone4S. Processed by yours truly.

Night shot taken after sunset while walking with family and friends on the boardwalk along Merimbula Lake. It was a little worrying as I gave my torch to my kids to get home and I didn't have a light to shine the way back. I ended up using the light from the screen on my camera to light the way. It wasn't very bright but better than nothing. I'm still glad I stayed to take this shot. What do you think?

Quite a unique location where the wild open sea is just on the right of the picture. Short Point in Merimbula where surfers can be seen early every morning in Summer. Yet if you turn around 180 degrees you see a large peaceful open lake with rolling hills. The Back Lake.
