	wardomatic says: biscuitcleaver, I drew this while looking at an ad in waxpoetics magazine. In fact, you can see the photo here. So basically, I used a lot creative license here -- I liked the pose on the right, but I wanted an old skool look to his clothes, like the image of him on the left (from the movie Wild Style). I just merged the two Flashes. By the way, for those who are not familiar with all this, the scene of Grandmaster Flash cutting up some beats in his mom's kitchen in Wild Style was iconic. It's considered a classic scene -- that's why they have him in his kitchen again, for this ad for Traktor Scratch. Posted 6 months ago. ( permalink )

	wardomatic says: Thanks, newsquirt! Hey Amy -- thanks for your thoughts on my negative space. I am always aware of composition when I sketch. A bad habit, I guess. There are some pages where I know right from the start that it's just going to be a dumping ground for gestures and the like, so those I don't care.
