Denver - LoDo: Tattered Cover Bookstore - Event Hall

Tattered Cover Bookstore, one of the alrgest independent bookstores in the United states, originally opened in 1971 as a small 950-square-foot shop in Cherry Creek. It was purchased in 1974 by Joyce Meskis, and between 1973 and 1983, it expanded seven different times. In 1994, they expanded in the restored Morey Mercantile Building, at 1628 16th Street in LoDo.
