Brooklyn - Park Slope: Old First Reformed Church

Brooklyn - Park Slope: Old First Reformed Church by wallyg.
The Old First Reformed Church is the descendant of the old Dutch Reformed Church, the first religious body in America. The church, located at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Carroll Street in Park slope, was designed in 1892 by George L. Morse. The large, Neo-Gothic structure of Old First is accented by beautiful stained glass windows, two of which were made by the Tiffany Company, and a 212 foot high spire. The interior decoration is considered one of the finest examples of Arts and Crafts design in the United States.

National Register #98000316
