My first piece! A whale tail that I made out of a small piece of polished jade that I got at a rock shop in Mexico. The hunk started out looking alot like the piece it is leaning against. It took about 4 hours total over 2 days. I've polished it, but I might need to look into a better polish - I think that is why the bigger hunk is so much darker than the tail.

400 million + year old Ordovician fossils that I was able to pick up off a spillway cut in Ohio. The DNR just asks you to fill out a free form and then have at it. The US needs more great places like this.
