Owyhee River packrafting

Owyhee River packrafting by Walks On Rocks.
Packrafting is best when flows are about 500 cfs at the Rome gage. When flows are 150 cfs, you will do lots of paddling, and dragging bottom.

Looks like the Grand Canyon. This must be OR's Grand Canyon. Spectacular!

Thanks you all for the comments! I have been away hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (2,650 miles) but am on a short break. The Owyhee River and surrounding canyons is a very cool place which is largely undiscovered by the mainstream.

I've placed it on my map, the view is downstream on the Owyhee and I'm standing on a sandbar at the mouth of the West Little Owyhee R.
