It's already been said... the DoF is excellent as is the compostion and lighting.

I'm glad that the needle is blurred as I HATE all needles. The colour of the red liquid (blood?) works well with the green plastic.

I like this a lot, it looks like the album cover for some sort of post-grunge, pre-britpop band circa 1994 who were just about to split, nicely sinister, but with these big bright kindergarten colours and that lovely light rippled effect on the... is that a sofa or your shirt sleeve? Best "I Want 5" photo I've seen for time.

Wakalani, I thought that blood for haemoglobin estimation was collected whole in EDTA and only haemolysed in the machine that counts cells, estimates Hb, does the diff, and all of those things that we learned to do the hard way as students. ?

Edit, The last time that I had blood taken no-one used syringes, vacuum tubes were the order of the day.
