This was taken with a Mamiya C33 in 1999. Taken on a day playing hooky from work (at the time, Whirlpool). This engine used to pull passenger trains on a daily basis, then was assigned freight duties, then retired and donated to the city of Tulsa in the mid-1950's. For years, sat in Mohawk Park, then around 1990, a local group tried to restore it, but ran out of financing. Moved to another location in north Tulsa in 2005 or 2006 and is being cosmetically restored.

This photograph dates back long before my association with Flickr, and was my very first upload when I joined up. I've had this one enlarged several times, and has been a favorite image of mine for the last ten years or so. I'm happy that other people enjoy this photograph as well.
