at pj's pet store. i wanted to rescue him from his tank, but holy crap, he was expensive!

the blue is the aquarium background... the octopus itself is pretty transparent, white with brownish-yellow spots. and no, not my pet. he costs a few thousand dollars...!

such deadly beasts. they can change colour shape and texture. one day they are going to take over. such fine plumage this specimen has! i love his beak!

Beautiful! Apparently, octopi are fairly easy too keep. They only live for a year, though. Several thousand dollars seems a little expensive for such a short-lived companion.

Apparently, octopi don't need a whole lot of space - in the wild, they hide in small caves for the best part of their lives. So don't feel to bad for him.
