Obama tuk-tuk
outside the FCC in Phnom Penh, Nov. 5, 2008
Phnom Penh is, if I remember right, 15 hours ahead of the West coast of the US (14 hours during daylight savings time). I basically woke up just in time to turn on CNN or MSNBC or whatever and watch them call it, then I went to the FCC where E was covering the election for HuffingtonPost and her roommate was helping to run the Democrats Abroad victory party. So I missed the initial eruption of glee, but arrived before the excitement died down. After a little while I got coffee and sat down with my laptop to watch California results. Some British guys bought me drinks. Would you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
