USA - Arizona, Petrified Forest National Park

Chunks of petrified wood lying in the desert along the Crystal Forest Trail.

It looks really if they have been sawed, but people did not cut the logs. Because the sections are still in order, it is known that the logs fractured after they were buried and the petrification process was complete.

Cool! Have you ever seen a tree fall and naturally break into such logs? I'd like to look for marks of a saw blade :)
