Now That I'm ¨"unplugged I'm bored"

This little boy is the main reason I will be ofline for a while he born last 27/Feb/2009 and this photo is with less than a week and the boy is bored with out an Xbox, internet and with out a camera.

Regards … the spoiled Daddy.

About a technics … One hand … move quickly … and I don’t have any idea about portraits … any suggestions?

Forgotten

Forgotten beach

This photograph was taken last 24th of December. Supposed to take photos into a different beach closer to Tampico, but it access was closed. So I decided to go a few kilometers further (… like 30). To this beach, I arrived after sunrise, since I not have a 4x4 I left the car and walked like 1hr and a half under the bright sun before to decided that it was time to get back … (and to receive a phone call asked where I was on the 24th0). I didn’t take a single photo since all was flat. A couple of hundred meters from the car I decided to take this photo with a long exposure and I decided to frame this forgotten “palapas” when I started my walk 3 hours ago … I need to stay that since it was flat cloudless and not inspiring at all, it should go on sepia. So as a training shot was not bad at all. Also as you can see I have been very busy also my wife is pregnant and on her mother house and I waiting for “the” call; therefore I’m hesitant to go out to take photos outside of cell range. This photo expresses my current feelings …. The clock is ticking and nothing … but you are expecting something great … and nothing. My original plan was to take tons of photos and process them once our baby arrival. But in the current year I only went out once … and nothing relevant to take. Two weeks ago I drove 14 hours looking for photos … and nothing. Perhaps I reaching a boundary and I shall to give the next step … How knows… For know I’m eating my finger nails and waiting for “the” call.

The day when color died 04

Lost of rain, lots of moisture = heavy fog if you add wind you have almost no color at all. This is a damp near house called “Presa de Bravo”. Is the same that this one Windy . But even whit long exposures you can almost see the other side of the damp. It was nice how fast the fog moved. Even waited for the sunrise a lot waiting to get less amount of fog… but it never happened and I had to come back for breakfast at home. The smooth glow on this photo is caused by the fog itself and some condensation between the lens and the filters.
