Nice angle! Really looks like its name! I´m going to see it today, Saturday. No problems bringing cameras?

I didn't smell anything. Apparently it's fragrant in the a.m. The mottling on the stalk is quite beautiful.

Oquendo - it only lasts a day, maybe two. It might be worth looking at today.

The web cam shows the flower as looking about the same as it did yesterday. I'm going to get myself in gear and get over there today.

Nice shots !

Lucky devil! The only time I've been able to see one, I was a day early and the spathe hadn't unfurled yet.

Great shot - the odd angle really makes it work.

Paul - perhaps you get to experience some of the smell! Can't wait to see your pics.

Yes, Eric, I was lucky. Saw on the news that it had opened, and I re-arranged my calendar to get over there in a hurry. This angle was the only way I could get the flower without people in it. The room was crowded and I kept wishing the folks behind it would go away. Then they did!
