My niece is 18 months old and starting to learn her ABCs. Living so far away, I thought I was unable to help her until I thought about creating a book.

At first, I was going to use very Northern California words (A is for avacado, B is for burrito), but that would go over her head.

Yeah, this one is going to be COMPLETELY over her head. I can hear it now, "What's a record, Mommy?" or "That's not a record. A record is a row in a database table, Uncle David!" She won't say the second one until she's 3 or so.
