One of two of my newer bettas. Over the last few months my older* * * ones (one was over 4 years old, the rest at least 3 years plus) have passed. Time for a new batch. Now I have two red*, which I've had for a while, one blue/red, and this one. Three are crowntails. They're so cool looking.
Edit 8/31/07-- I'm down to three again. :( Lost my only spadetail * a few days ago. No clue why. Same everything as I've done for all these years. It was only 2 years or so old (they're often at least a year old when you buy them, otherwise they wouldn't have those lovely long fins yet). I'll be getting another at some point.
