Being a Windows 7 beta testerThese are Yahoo Widgets 4.50 They work great in Win7 Hovering mouse pointer over the IE8 icon you see all your open pages thumbs emerge. Hovering over any of them you get an instant full screen preview. Click on any thumb and you go to the page you want. Hovering over an open program icon you get an instant thumb of it. Four days ago I downloaded and installed the free Windows 7, build 7000 beta. It will function until August 1st.

I'm greatly impressed with the new interface features (they work greatly on my notebook, despite its 2 years...) especially the functionality of the taskbar. IE8 (beta too) is awesome and handles favorites in many ways. Didn't find an annoying bug yet, only the navigation pane in Explorer needs some retouching to be more convenient, as in Vista. If you want to be one of the 2,5 million beta testers you have to hurry... CommentsHermann H.

this looks to be a VAST improvement over Vista. too bad they didn't wait to get it right the first time. i enjoy my Mac, but it's nice to know there will be a decent alternative soon. hooray for Windows users!
