In anticipation of Skyrim, a pair of real Nordic swords...
To be rather less obtuse to non-gamers who are saying "eh?", Skyrim is the fifth instalment of Bethesda's Elder Scrolls videogame series (linky), from the potentially ill-advised name of the Nordic-themed Skyrim province.
The swords are an Albion Valkyrja with a Tod's Stuff scabbard and an Armour Class acid-etched Saxon, based on the Gilling Sword, with its scabbard.
