Mr. Right - He loved her for almost everything she was & she decided that was enough to let him stay for a very long time.
A THANK YOU to the most beautiful (!! - wonderful!!) Hero Husband on this planet.
OK, maybe you don't like his rather hairy looking arms (it never occurred to me to be so.....) and the (hazardous) choice of his shirt or maybe you would never wish to eat in a French Bistro with only two sorts of glasses on the table, or you don't care for the red chequered table cloth....
But to me it's the incredible BEAUTY WITHIN.... this gorgeous man with the kindest heart I've ever come across, the most generous being possible, generous in spite of all the 'merde' life has been throwing at him for some time now!
And that night, we were with wonderful friends who kindly leaned back in their seats so that I could snap my guy's place setting....
And btw; I have NO IDEA where he stole that sugar packet that he laid across his water glass... :))) He was just in great form!

Life seems good again - must touch wood though.... you never know how long its goodness lasts! So, I DID touch the dining table, only to realise that it wasn't wood after all, but just 'photographed' wood....

I'd like to add: Sometimes silence is the best answer - I got very quiet when our friends went to visit the Versailles Gardens and I waited outside the doors. All of a sudden I didn't hear the chattering of all those thousands of people any more; I was all alone with the pigeons on the stone urns - it went silent and very peaceful around and in me....

I honestly don't mind being slightly pear shaped; and I love wearing coloured clothes...! About acting 'juicy'.... no idea!!! But since English is not my 1st language, I simply pretend I have no idea what this bit means.... :)
I don't mind being occasionally looked down at or laughed at either, as long I can make those unhappy people who look down at others, smile or laugh.
I don't even mind being blemished - as are those pears.... - because it's still better to be a blemished pear-shaped goddess than a perfectly unwrinkled and unblemished hollow 'crap' :) apple....
Presently, I am more colourful, battered and blemished than ever! Back from a small surgery op, I am all black, blue, green, brown - and more than just a little blemished.... Which made me think of my pears in the veranda (You see, the circle is closing....) - I bought those fruits in perfect yellow and red on Wednesday and by Thursday the skin of at least half of them had already turned to a vivid brown....
Eeeeekh - I thought, but going to hospital, this wasn't my first worry!
Yesterday, back from hospital, I took a closer look and started cutting them in slices for a pear-compote with cinnamon and anise seeds. And guess what: THEY WERE absolutely PERFECT under the brown skin and the compote was HEAVENLY!!!!
And so I assume that under my multi-coloured-not-very-pretty-skin I can still be - well - not perfect, surely not, but - let's say - pretty OK-ish!
