The Fernery on the south facing wall, looking towards the front yard.
Its the only place in the garden where I could be accused of negligence yet the ferns seem to thrive on it.
Have just moved the worm farm (right) down here as being south facing, the farm is not exposed to the hot sun at any point during the day

This pathway up until the weekend was indistiguishable as it was completely overgrown with weeds. I think I pulled out at least 2 cubic metres of weeds before attacking the path with a line trimmer.
I also found a collar of Stella's that has disappeared two months ago - I'll keep that as a spare.
There has been much watering after the weeding as well, having discovered that the ground in dust-dry, something that surprised me considering I thought I had been watering sufficiently.

She's been rather put out that I have removed many of her hiding/sleeping spots as part of the garden cleanup, though I have no plans on cutting down the ferns.

This is one of the many David Austin roses in my garden. It's blooming rather late.

Another reliable crop in the garden has been the blueberries however I think they are beginning to reach a point in their life where they need to be migrated out of their pots and into the garden.
A heavy cropping plant, the blueberries are now pretty much done for the year although you may find a few ripe berries here and there.
