Naked Bed Challenge - Finished Top
My bed is not naked anymore, it has a quilt top now!
Fabric used: a FQ bundle of Hope Valley, by Denyse Schmidt + 4 yards of Cross Weave Cotton by Moda, in blue/tan.
Pattern: Lone Star Quilt that I adapted to meet my taste (I did not follow the instructions to make rows, and pieced each 2.5" diamond separately). I then added 2 borders of printed fabrics around a larger background fabric border at the top and the foot of the quilt, and only one border of print & a border of background fabrics for the sides.
I sewed everything with my sewing machine. I did not know I could piece such a quilt, and now I have no idea on how I will manage to quilt it myself.
I wanted to thank the Flickr Community and the Naked Quilt Challenge for the inspiration and the encouragement, I would not have such a quilt top without you. Now that it is done, I can go back to my normal life LOL.
