As we are both artists, we decided that we would dress as Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera for Fancy Dress. I have taken some liberties in borrowing Frida's painting as a background... I hope she won't mind. Alas, not many people recognized us but I don't believe it's because of total lack of similarities... Apparently we are not living in the most artistic place inspite of the impression that people are cultivated. It was an assemblage mostly of things we already had so only a few pounds were put into this.

I finally decided to let this one go... I worked on it for quit a while, unusually long. I had trouble getting it just right. It will have to do! This is myself in strange landscape... Copyright V-M C 2011
